Welcome To Morrison Institute of Technology.
Morrison Institute of Technology is an independent, co-educational, not-for-profit institution of higher learning.
Morrison Institute of Technology is two year college that specializes in engineering technology and providing program emphasis in Computer Aided Design & Drafting, Surveying, Building Construction, Highway Construction, Soils & Materials Testing and System and Networking Administration. The college is licensed by the Illinois Board of Higher Education to grant the Associate in Applied Science degree. All classes, except those offered as professional level courses, are day classes and are on campus. Regular courses are offered on a semester basis, with semesters beginning in August and January of each year. On campus dormitory apartment style housing is available.

New Prototype Modeling Lab
Beginning this Fall students will receive both hands-on and learning experiences in the various processes of manufacturing including:
Castings - CNC Milling - Stamping - Plastic Rotational Molding - Plastic Blow Molding - Plastic Injection Molding - 3D Printing
They will also receive knowledge of materials testing and analysis.
College Installs New 3D Printer to Construct Proto-type Models
The college has recently installed ZCorp's 3D printer capable of producing proto-type models for the Mechanical, Civil amd Architectural fields that students are registered in. Students now have the ability to take their designs produced in AutoCad's Inventor or Architectural Desktop or NX software and produce an actual solid model.
